Responsible for providing technical leadership, train test personnel, monitor and improve test performance and throughput based and yield information.  Responsible for test equipment hardware/software changes and upgrades as well as transfer of equipment into and out of the focus factory.

Qualifications

• Individual typically has an Associates degree in electronics or equivalent experience.

• Individual typically has at least 8 years experience in an electronics role, preferable at least two years leading a group of technicians.  Previous supervisor experience is a plus.

• The employee must successfully complete all internal training courses offered by the company necessary to do the job.

Manufacturing Engineer–Microelectronics

Job Overview

  This position is responsible for development and support of microelectronic processes.  Responsibilities include product routing, preparation of assembly build instructions, product metrics, and continuous improvement of microelectronic processes.   This position strongly desires knowledge and hands on capabilities of die attach, wire bonding and underfill processes, knowledge of back-end wafer processing – wafer saw, die prep (not wafer fab) and knowledge of device packaging and project management.  This role is typically focused on high complexity processes and is key to the standardization and advancement of the processes in Plexus.   This role is also responsible for solving high level customer / assembly specific problems in the manufacturing process.

7. Lead Process Development at the site to support customer specific needs

8. Support Site Capabilities Roadmap development and implementation

9. Support Assembly Build Instructions development for new customers and assemblies

10. Support New Technology Development / Implementation

11. Support Failure Analysis

12. Support Process Qualification/Validation for new and existing processes

13. Support New Customer/Product Introductions

14. Support Tool Manufacturing / Design through implementation of corporate standards

15. Support qualification of new packaging technologies for first and second level assembly

16. Support Customer DFx Development on existing customers

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field or equivalent is highly desired.

• Individual typically has 3 – 5 years experience in a microelectronics engineering role or equivalent.

• Experience with die attach, wire bonding and underfill processes.  Also, back-end wafer processing experience – wafer saw and die prep (not wafer fab) and device packaging processes.

• Project management experience required.

Technical Support/Customer Service

CradlePoint Inc. is seeking one full-time and two part-time applicants for our technical support department. 

The ideal candidates will have previous technical support, help desk or equivalent experience. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.  Applicant should also possess knowledge in networking and routers.

Our Technical Support specialists are the first point of contact in resolving customer concerns.  This position requires daily customer contact through inbound calls and chat sessions to determing the exact nature of the customer’s problems.  A variety of tools and resources will be used to perform diagnostic tests to help resolve hardware and software issues.  Case management software will be used to document each incident.

Requirements: Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Windows 2000, Windows Vista and XP.

Full-time hours: Mon – Fri, 10:30am to 7:30pm MST

Part-time hours: Mon – Fri, 11:30 to 3:30pm MST  or Mon-Fri 3:30pm to 7:30pm MST

Embedded Firmware Engineer

Job Description:

Firmware design and development for wireless routers connecting to Cellular broadband modems.
Develop new network routing components, cellular modem support, and/or UI components within router.

Requirements:
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Embedded Software Development, including I/O and driver development, system integration.
  • Experience in Linux or NetBSD kernel, driver, or application programming.
  • Strong experience in C programming and debugging skills on embedded platform is critical.
  • Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills are essential.
  • Ability to contribute in a small team environment and deliver quality firmware on schedule.
  • Experience in JavaScript for embedded UI development and Python for application development is a plus.
  • Familiarity with 802.11-based wireless LAN protocols and routing a plus.
